I'm not sure whether it was the trainer, or the content, but I would suggest compress the sessions so we can move from one insight to the other without needing to listen to what would sound like buzz words.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Outsmarting myself wasn't that hard I started watching these episodes because I wanted to become a better me. I don't know if I've succeeded or not. Time will tell. But at least I learned a few things about psychology. These episodes were effective in presenting a digest of what seems to be some new data coming out of the social sciences. Some of it is counterintuitive -- like if you want to stop procrastinating, don't do anything for 20 minutes. I have a problem with procrastination -- e.g. writing reviews instead of my job -- and this tactic helped me. The professor was very appealing in his presentation. He seemed like a friendly fellow. A few other reviewer said negative things about the set. I thought it was a bit odd, but it didn't really bother me. I figured it was part of some psychological experiment they were running. Anyhow, I recommend this series. I'll probably check out other titles by Professor Vishton. There is one on memory that looks interesting. I'm always forgetting stuff, so that one would probably be good for me. For example, I've forgotten what my main point was, so I should just pack it in and get back to work.
